Peer Review Process

Peer Review Process

LEX DIGITALIS applies a double-blind peer-review process to maintain the quality and integrity of published scholarly work.

All submitted manuscripts initially undergo editorial screening to determine whether they are appropriate for the journal's aims, scope, and basic publication requirements.

Manuscripts that pass the initial editorial screening are sent to independent reviewers with relevant expertise.

Review Procedure

  1. Manuscript Submission
The author submits the manuscript through the journal's online submission system.

  2. Initial Editorial Screening
The editorial team evaluates the manuscript for relevance, originality, basic quality, and compliance with the journal's requirements.

  3. Reviewer Assignment
Suitable manuscripts are assigned to independent reviewers with relevant expertise.

  4. Double-Blind Review
The identities of authors and reviewers are concealed from each other during the review process.

  5. Editorial Decision
Based on the reviewers' comments and the editor's assessment, the manuscript may be accepted, returned for revision, or rejected.

  6. Revision
Authors may be required to revise their manuscripts in response to reviewer comments.

  7. Final Decision and Publication
Accepted manuscripts proceed to the final editorial and production process before publication.

LEX DIGITALIS aims to ensure that the peer-review process is conducted fairly, objectively, confidentially, and in accordance with accepted standards of academic publishing.
