Author Guidelines
Introduction
The Journal of Law and Cultural Studies (JLCS) welcomes the submission of original manuscripts that have not been previously published, are not under consideration by another journal, and contribute significantly to the advancement of legal scholarship and cultural studies.
Authors are encouraged to carefully read and follow these guidelines before submitting their manuscripts through the Online Journal System (OJS).
Types of Manuscripts
JLCS accepts the following categories of manuscripts:

Language
All manuscripts must be written in clear, concise, and grammatically correct English.
Authors whose first language is not English are encouraged to have their manuscripts professionally proofread before submission.
Manuscript Preparation
Authors should prepare manuscripts using the official JLCS Article Template.

Manuscript Length
The recommended manuscript length is:

6,000–10,000 words
-
Including references, tables, and figures.
Title
The title should:

Clearly reflect the content of the manuscript.

Be concise and informative.
-
Avoid abbreviations whenever possible.
-
Not exceed approximately 20 words.
Abstract
The abstract should:

Contain 150–250 words.

Briefly describe:

Be written as a single paragraph.

Avoid citations and undefined abbreviations.
Keywords
Authors should provide 3–5 keywords that accurately represent the main topics of the manuscript.
Keywords should not simply repeat words already appearing in the title.
Citation and References
JLCS uses the APA (7th Edition) citation style.
Authors are strongly encouraged to use reference management software such as:

References should primarily consist of recent scholarly publications published within the last ten years.

Authors are encouraged to cite relevant international literature.
Tables and Figures
Tables and figures should:

Be numbered consecutively.

Include clear titles.
-
Be cited within the text.

Be presented in editable format whenever possible.

Include the source of data where applicable.
Ethical Requirements
Authors must ensure that:

The manuscript is original.

The manuscript has not been published elsewhere.

The manuscript is not under review by another journal.

All authors have approved the submitted version.

Proper acknowledgment is given to all cited works.

Any potential conflict of interest is disclosed.
Fabrication, falsification, plagiarism, duplicate publication, and unethical research practices are strictly prohibited.
Similarity Check
All submitted manuscripts will undergo plagiarism screening using similarity detection software.
As a general guideline, manuscripts should demonstrate a low level of textual similarity and must not contain evidence of plagiarism or inappropriate text recycling. Editorial decisions are based on both the similarity report and editorial assessment.
Peer Review Process
Every manuscript undergoes:
