The Journal of Law and Cultural Studies (JLCS) operates under a Diamond Open Access publishing model.

JLCS does not charge any publication fees to authors.

Authors are not required to pay any fees for:

  • Manuscript submission;

  • Editorial processing;

  • Peer review process;

  • Article processing;

  • Copyediting and layout preparation;

  • DOI registration;

  • Online publication.

Authors may submit manuscripts to JLCS without any submission fee.

The submission of a manuscript and participation in the peer-review process are completely free of charge.

Accepted manuscripts are published without requiring authors to pay Article Processing Charges.

Editorial decisions are based solely on:

  • Academic quality;

Payment or financial considerations have no influence on editorial decisions.

Additional Charges

JLCS does not apply additional charges for:

  • Number of pages;

  • Figures or tables;

  • Supplementary materials;

  • Color illustrations;

  • Article corrections during the publication process.

As an open-access journal, JLCS provides immediate and free access to all published articles.
